Finally! We are happy to announce that we submitted Hacienda for approval on June, 2.
There were many rescheduling in our project, but we hope waiting a bit was worthy. Thanks to our testers this game is much better that it would be on the very beginning. Thank you, guys!
We sent first version of the game with:
- two maps (family and challenging)
- tutorial learning how to play Hacienda
- pass-and-play mode
- AI mode (three levels of difficulty)
Hacienda HD will be priced at $5,99.

Really? It has now been 11 days since submission, and iTunes approval never takes that long. Did Apple reject it?
I echo Jeffrey’s concern. Hoping to be playing Hacienda soon!
Same question as above…
Why does it take apple sooo long to approve? Many other games went live only 4 or 5 days after submission
[...] little like Settlers of Catan – a felicitous combination if I’ve ever heard one. A post on CYM’s blog says that Hacienda was submitted back on 2 June, so it stands to reason that the game should be out [...]
Jeffrey, it’s not unknown for iTunes approval to take two weeks sometimes.
Just purchased and played!! Eventually worth the wait I believe. Well done guys!
Hi,
I think I was little too harsh in my previous comments.I apologize for that. Although I haven’t played the game before, I heard a lot about it and had high expectations for playing it on my iPad. I am happy that it is now finally released. Bought it immediately. Tutorial is well done, also the explanation of rules. Sound is nice too. Can’t say anything about the AI yet. Had a little higher expectations ( iPad3) when it comes to grafiks, but it’s ok. Placing tiles is not good, needs improvement. I really think the game needs online play via GC and leaderboards, hope you can bring that in a soon update. Thanks for he game, hope it’s a success and that more games and updates follow..
Thank you for all your comments. And sorry for not replying earlier. As for the approval process, the point is, that we made some formal mistakes and we had to submit Hacienda for approval once again. So it’s not about Apple, and rather about us (lesson learned, I hope).
Ok, thank you for answering and being so honest to us
sorry again if I was too harsh, but I really love to support developers like you and hope that your game is a success! wish you all the best!
